VET.CT Becomes Carbon Neutral Certified | VET.CT

We are delighted to announce that VET.CT is now a carbon-neutral company! Following the calculation and report of our scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions, which includes both direct and indirect emissions across all company activities, we explored projects that align with our mission and values through which to offset our total carbon footprint.

Our offsetting Projects

We are excited to support the following projects through our offsetting, all of which are certified as Gold Standard for Global Goals* for climate security and sustainable development:

• Our physical office emissions have been fully offset by supporting the planting of biodiverse forests in Panama

• All of our goods and services purchased have been offset by providing institutional improved cookstoves for schools and institutions in Uganda

• Our remote team homeworking, travel and commuting are now offset through supporting solar power generation at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India

Next steps:

Alongside offsetting, we recognise the need to reduce our carbon emissions in line with the path to net zero. VET.CT is developing a science-based emissions reduction roadmap to launch in 2025, including the important considerations of setting ambitious targets, robust measurement, transparent reporting and credible action to continually improve our impact on our patients, communities and the environment.
