  • Develop a systematic approach to the orthopaedic examination of the forelimb in dogs and cats, integrating key techniques to improve the localisation of lameness beyond identifying areas of pain.
  • Recognise and interpret additional clinical signs—such as joint effusion, reduced range of motion, crepitus, instability, muscle asymmetry, and local heat—as diagnostic clues in determining the anatomical source of forelimb lameness.
