Our 2025 Impact Journey Towards Making the Veterinary World a Better Place

At VET.CT, our constant mission is to make the veterinary world a better place. Our 2025 Annual Impact Report reflects a year of significant milestones, challenging transitions, and an unwavering commitment to the animal patients, veterinary teams, and the planet we serve.

How we realise this mission is driven by our five core values: rising together through teamwork, bringing our best to all we do, doing the right thing as a business, treating one another with kindness, and approaching every challenge with curiosity. Here is how those values shaped our impact over the past year.

Doing the Right Thing: Clinical Excellence and B Corp Principles

We believe in accountability. In 2025, we were thrilled to achieve B Corp certification, embedding our purpose to be a force for good in everything we do. For our patients, "doing the right thing" means maintaining world-leading clinical quality - providing veterinary teams with imaging interpretations that help them to “do the right thing” for their patients and clients. It also means measuring and addressing our impact on the planet. And for the profession, it includes championing better veterinary business.

  • We supported veterinary teams with the care of a record number of animals! We know every single patient is incredibly important to the veterinary team and their client, and we treat every report with diligence and care as if it were our own beloved companion.
  • We continued to operate as carbon-neutral and strengthened our commitment to the planet by setting verified science-based targets to reach net-zero by 2050.
  • We championed “Better Veterinary Business” by disseminating the B Corp message for continuous improvement and acting as a force for good.

Bringing Our Best: Investing in Education and People

To ensure we continue to “bring our best” we invest in the career development and knowledge sharing across our team. We believe continuous learning is vital to support our radiologists and maintain the high quality reporting our clients trust:

  • Radiology Fellowships: 72 radiologists completed our unique fellowships in CT, MRI, and our newly launched Exotics program.
  • Continuous Learning: We provided over 26 hours of clinical lectures and discrepancy rounds to 585 participants across our equine and small animal teams.
  • Clinical Excellence: We maintained our exceptionally low clinical error rate, backed by a unique clinical warranty on our radiology reports.

Kindness and Teamwork: Supporting Our Communities and the Planet

Kindness and teamwork inform how we behave at VET.CT. Our impact also extends beyond our company and clients. We take active steps to support those in need:

  • Global Support: Our team works mostly remotely across 26 different countries, with over 80% of our staff utilising flexible, part-time schedules to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Giving Back: We continued to support charities including Wildlife Vets International and sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation centres through fundraising, donations and free services.
  • Education Bursaries: We sponsored opportunities for radiologists and wildlife vets to engage in valuable learning experiences.

Curiosity: Navigating Challenges with Optimism

Business is rarely all about success, and this year brought the difficult decision to close our specialist case advice service. In contrast, our teleradiology services have been busier than ever. It is our value of curiosity that keeps us looking forward, and we have been excited to see the work of our R&D team creating solutions to support our team and service delivery. We are currently developing a suite of tools to improve efficiencies and meet the growing global demand for expert reporting.

Looking Ahead

This impact report details the continued efforts from across our team to operate as a business for good. We acknowledge we are on a journey of continuous improvement and the report also highlights areas for improvement. We have shared some of our smart goals to hold ourselves accountable to our own team and to the wider veterinary community.

While 2025 was a challenging year of restructuring, we remain immensely optimistic. We are determined to grow our impact by making our services accessible to more animals while maintaining the care, and trust that define the 'C' and 'T' in our name.

Thank you to our global team and community of clients and partners for your continued trust. Together, we are building a more compassionate veterinary world.
